Notes Cuffs for a causeLast month, we were really excited to team up with Alimonada to bring an exclusive jewelry collection to a-thread! For those of you new to the NY based designer’s line, each bracelet and necklace is handmade, and all stones come from Brazil, where they have the largest concentration of natural stones in the world. It was love at first sight for us – who can resist this gorgeous earthy stone ring?
But even more than her baubles, we’re truly impressed with Alimonada’s mission to give back. 10% of each sale goes to Casa de Grace, a shelter for underprivileged families in Brazil. The money goes straight towards transportation and supplies for abandoned, neglected or abused young women who’ve come to the temporary shelter from the local slums.
